Munitions Breast Plate

Era: Late Edo 19th Century

A very nice munitions grade dou with large red kamon. Base is horizontally oriented iron plates riveted together covered in black lacquered hemp, with outside covered in "tataki" nuri. General condition of this piece is excellent. Though this is only a front plate, the condition and size would make it an excellent piece for display.
