The 2011 KTK Exhibition book is the latest installment of the KTK series, and was published in conjunction with the Nihonto Bunka Shinko Kyokai (NBSK).   This edition features exceptional pieces from private international collections  covering major schools of both iron and soft-metal from the Kofun period through late Edo periods.  Tosogu cover Ko tosho, Tachishi, Ezo, Owari, Ko Shoami, Akasaka, Nobuie, early Goto, Yoshiro, Onin, Ko kinko, Ko Mino, Yagyu, Hazama, and Jingo among others.  In addition, there are numerous top quality koshirae pictured spanning early Muromachi to late Edo periods.  Each koshirae image crosses both pages (and unfortunately too large to scan for t his description).

In addition, this edition includes three articles.  As an addendum to this book, I will offer a printed 8 1/2 x 11" version with images of an article I wrote for this book entitled "Investigation of a Chokuto Tachi".  Unfortunately, a poor editorial decision resulted in images in the article to be printed in the margins, and too small to fulfill their purpose.

The 2011 catalogues were limited to 400 copies all of which have been sold-out.
