Kokinko Tsuba

Yamagane tsuba with original hitsuana.  The reverse side of the tsuba has a very low-profile thickening a few millimeteres inside of the edge - this can be seen in the right scan as a brighter band.   Fine remnant scratches on the surface suggest this tsuba once had surface ornamentation of some type.  The amount of wear attests to the age of this tsuba.  Being of a larger size, this piece was likely used on a katana, being most suitable for a tensho koshirae.
