

Yamgane Tsuba
Mokko gata (4 lobed) tachi kanagushi tsuba made of yamagane. the plate is covered by radial nanako of a courser variety which was more common in the 14th and 15th centuries. Squarish hitsuana adds to the image of age, and the plate is covered by a large amount of black lacquer on both sides. The mimi is a well-fitted fukurin. Nice colour, size and technique.
