Ko Kinko Tsuba
Simple yamagane plate tsuba with two hitsuana of a style most commonly seen during the mid to late 16th century. IN the scans the plate seems smooth, but upon very close scrutiny the surface is covered by minute gravers marks. The pattern is discernable to include various flower blossoms. The surface wear is indicative of the age of the piece. This is subtle tsuba of rich tones with fine textures and delicate motifs.
