Fuchi Kashira of Sparrows and Bamboo

Fine fuchi kashira is composed of shakudo with very fine nanako.  The design motif is of several sparrows fluttering about a bamboo grove.    The bamboo is executed with gold and black shakudo, while the birds are of a reddish brown copper with gold highlights.  The composition is serene, the quality very good as is the detail.  This is a very useable wakizashi or O-tanto sized fuchi kashira.   Overall, I would attribute the work and composition to the Nara school.  Unsigned.
