Kabuto Menuki

Highly detailed representations of a classic Muromachi suji-kabuto.  Base metal is copper with application of shakudo and silver.  Areas of the mabizashi, fukigaeshi, hachi and shikoro are very lightly textured.  The workmanship and level of detail of this set of menuki is wonderful.  These would be a welcome addition to any collection, I say no more...   

Late Edo 19th c.    Max. dimensions are 1.9x4.0cm.
