Bronze Mirror
Simple and elegant example of a late 16th
century hand held bronze mirror. The design is of four cherry blossoms
that have been made by stamping them into surface of the mold. The
background is unfinished as was common to mirrors of this period. It
is covered in what appears to be a thin coat of black lacquer. This is a
very good quality mirror, and mirrors from this period are quite difficult to
come by.
