Classic personal mirror of floral and bird design with central boss in the shape of a turtle.  The motif is supposed to signify spring and longevity.  Simple and elegant in Muromachi period style.

Late Muromachi period, 16th c.

7.0 cm diameter; 0.5 cm rim.
