Antique Japanese Bamboo Shaped Pipe

 This is an interesting old pipe.  The stem is unusual being made of silver and having a nice elegant gradual taper without a waist.  The wood part is spotted bamboo with a lacquer finish.  The bowl is shaped like a bamboo tree.  Though the stem is silver I am not 100% sure that the bowl is made out of silver though it is made out of a silvery metal.  There are a couple defects; the bowl has a chip where it meets with the wood stem, and the silver stem has a small crack in it.
